Huawei has quietly launched the Huawei Y9a which is a tweaked version of Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus, launched in China earlier this week. The phone is coming to Pakistan very soon with pre-orders starting from 14th of September. There’s no word on the launch of this phone in India yet.
Huawei Y9a is coming with a 6.63″ FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD panel with motorized pop-up selfie camera of 16 MP. This phone comes with a MediaTek G80 chipset, LPDDR4 RAM 6GB & 8GB and 128 GB UFS 2.1 internal storage unlike Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus which is a 5G supported smartphone and comes with MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 SoC.
On the back, the phone comes with a round shaped camera setup that houses a 64 MP main camera, 8 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth sensor unlike Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus which has Triple camera setup with 48 MP main shooter. Huawei Y9a has Mate 30 like camera design on the back.
The device will be backed by a 4200 mAh battery and 40W fast charging, has a USB C port and 3.5 mm headphone jack. In some regions the phone will only support 22.5W fast charging but in Pakistan it’s coming with a 40W charging speed.
The phone will be available in 3 colors; Space Silver, Sakura Pink and Midnight Black.
