According to recent reports, vivo is working on its latest smartphone in S-series, the vivo S9. The company is about to launch this device on 6th March, 2021 and the leaked information from a famous leakster has confirmed that vivo S9 will be the first device to come with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 1100 (6nm) chipset. The smartphone will have a 6.44 inches sized AMOLED display with a wider notch for two selfie cameras, a 44 MP main and an ultra-wide sensor.
This may be the previously leaked vivo phone which appeared on Google Play Console with the model number V2072A. It also had the Dimensity 1100 SoC and wide notched display. Hence, it seems that the V2072A model number may belong to the Vivo S9 5G smartphone. It was also revealed in the Google Play Console listing that the phone is offering 12 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS with OriginOS on top. Rest of the specs are not known yet.
vivo is also expected to launch another S-series device soon with the name vivo S7t, the phone will be powered by Dimensity 820 chipset.
